Brandy Cotter
Brings more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a career that spans every front-of-house role and several back-of-house positions. She was part of the original opening team at Empress Tavern in 2015, where she served as Assistant General Manager.
Following her tenure at Empress Tavern, Brandy went on to manage restaurants throughout San Francisco and Oakland. Most recently, she served as Regional Manager for Chef Daniel Patterson’s Alta Restaurant Group, overseeing a diverse portfolio of bars and restaurants, including multiple Michelin-starred establishments.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Brandy stepped into a full-time role as a stay-at-home parent, welcoming two daughters and focusing on family. Now, as her children grow older, she is thrilled to return to Empress Tavern - bringing her deep industry expertise back to a space she knows well - and to help steward its next chapter in alignment with the mission and community impact work of Alchemist Community Development Corporation.
